Snap-In Throttle Linkage Replacement Grommet Kit
A snap in bushing to replace failing loose rubber grommets in throttle linkage holes.
This is used in many places, most cars have 3-4 of them located in various linkages. Rotting rubber causes excessive play in these linkages. Grommet fits in ~ 1/2" hole and a 5/16" ID. A 3/16" circumferential groove on the center snaps into flat steel that thick. Some infrequent applications may require end shim washers, or shortening the bushing but 90% of the applications will work fine as is. It snaps in from one side.
This variance in length is because Mopar sometimes used metal washers, cotters or both - right at a 90 degree bend at the end of one rod. On example is in the RAM throttle linkage right above the troublesome C-Clip (see replacement C-Clips on our SHOP page).
Kit includes (4) grommets.
